    Pyidaungsu Hluttaw’s Constitution Review Joint Committee submitted a report today to the parliament, detailing the number of proposed amendments to the constitution made by different political parties.

    Clearly, businesses operating outside the purview of the state will not be able to report harmful import increases. Unless they formalise, trade remedies will be of little benefit. The need to formalise the economy in Myanmar is a well-known challenge and may require government to make some concessions to business to reduce restrictions and requirements for SMEs.

    The National Archives Department could continue forbidding access even though the security tenure expires. To use records of security grade by the departmental researchers, the recommendation of the head of government department and organization is needed and the director can permit this independently. If anyone wants to publish or copy records and archive, the permit of the director must be obtained and they have to pay the described fee. In addition, there must be a signing promise to comply with the existing law of printing and publishing.
